About Us
At Jannic Education Solutions, we are dedicated to liberating educators from burdensome administrative tasks, granting them the freedom to focus on their passion for teaching and to leave work at work.
Founder 1: Janet’s story
I’m a third-generation teacher who has experienced changes in education for over 30 years. When my mum retired in 2006, she still loved her work with children. She had more to give. But she was tired. She no longer wanted to face growing class sizes and endless paperwork. Her words were, “I just want to teach children to read.”
The expectations of teachers have increased far beyond those that my mother experienced. Workload encroaches on personal time, leaving teachers both physically and emotionally exhausted.
Moved by the experiences of mum and fellow educators, I began to envision a world where every teacher has a personal assistant to handle admin tasks, so they can focus on students and still have a life outside school.
I hope that, by offering teachers the personal assistants they deserve, fewer of our amazing teachers worldwide will leave the profession.
Founder 2: Nick’s story
This company was born from a simple question: How can we give teachers the support they actually need without adding to their workload?
Well that sounds easy…
My work life has been years spent working across both large and small I.T. programs—working with and leading teams, designing, building, and testing conversational solutions that streamline customer interactions in complex industries.
Janet was intrigued with what I was working on when we met and asked: Can we create something like this, but for teachers?
My answer was, “Yes. But not yet…”. The technology at that stage was being built for large corporations and their customers with closed intent models based around their business and took corporate levels of money.
Fast forward to today, and the leaps in technology have given us the tools to build those systems and use our expertise across both of our areas of expertise. Whilst Janet has a deep understanding of education and the needs of teachers, I have a deep understanding of application delivery teams.
So that’s how our AI-powered teacher assistant was born. We’re not here to replace teachers or add another system for them to learn. We’re here to build a solution that works the way teachers do—seamlessly, intuitively, and right in the moment they need it.
Because when teachers have the right support, they can focus on what truly matters: their students.

Our Team
Technical Experts: Our team includes language model experts, architects, and programmers from top Australian tech companies. They are designing the technology architecture with adherence to strict data security standards as set forth by ISO 27001 and SOC 2. The team shares a commitment to protect both teacher and student information.
Advisory Educators: Janet works with more than 20 teachers, spanning three continents. They include primary and secondary educators, relief teachers, and tutors from urban and regional areas in both government and independent schools. Some have extensive tech resources, like LMSs; others have limited access to technology. This mix ensures our virtual assistants understand different teaching contexts and needs.
Current Virtual Assistants (with many, many more being trained)

Marlene Professional Coach
Named after Janet’s mother, Marlene knows that teachers already have most answers to their challenging situations. They often just need someone to sit with them and ask questions that lead them to their own solutions.

Hanna Curriculum Expert
Hanna’s specialty is adding both fun and rigour to those lessons or units that teachers find tedious. She adapts lessons to the individual needs of students in a classroom. She drafts rubrics aligned with any national or state curriculum standards.

Ravi Learning Support for Students With Additional Needs (SWANs)
Ravi is present when a teacher’s Learning Support team is slammed with other meetings (which they usually are!). He knows that many students with needs are undiagnosed. Ravi will ask teachers for observations and offer multiple suggestions to consider.
